Welcome to the Home of the High Stepping Marching Bulldog Band!

The Burke High School High Stepping Marching Bulldog Band is under the leadership of the best band director in the land, Mr. Linard McCloud. The band is made up of students attending Burke High School and a few students from various other CCSD schools. The marching band is recognized for its perfection in musicianship, precision in marching, and innovative, high-energy performances.  The key to the success of “The Best Band in the Land” is its commitment to artistic excellence, discipline, and hard work.  The BHS Band performs in many band competitions, home and college football games, and exhibitions throughout the year.
