Burke High School Band receives countless performance invitations from all over. These travel experiences have become a source of pride and offer students the chance to strengthen their life goals and aspirations. Students learn leadership, team-building, and character-building skills.
Ways to Support Us!
Band Sponsorship Club
Join the BHSBSC for a $20.00 donation (payable in two $10.00 installments). Your support funds life-changing travel opportunities: SCSU Homecoming, FAMU Summer Band Camp, Bethune-Cookman Summer Band Camp, the Florida Classic BOB, bi-annual trip to Canada, etc.
Band Booster Club
Become a vital part of our support network. The Booster Club coordinates fundraising and logistics to ensure our Director and students have the resources they need to succeed.
Participate in Fundraisers
Support the BHS Band by participating in our yearly fundraisers: 'World’s Finest Chocolate, fruit sales, branded gear, Alumni Band "Wall of Distinction", etc. Reach out to any band or staff member to learn more about these opportunities.
Community/Private Performances
Bring the energy of the "High Stepping Bulldogs" to your next event! Booking the band for private or community performances provides our students with invaluable experience and essential program funding. Send us a message!
